The Saucony Guide 7 is the lastest update from the most popular saga from the american brand. Great balance between cushioning and responsiveness with support for moderate pronation in long runs.
This new version focus on improving two topics from its predecessor the Guide 6: cushioning and flexibility. Regarding cushioning, midsole has been upgraded to full length PowerGridโข (15% lighter and 30% more durable than traditional EVA), a more efficient SRC crashpad fully decoupled for shock absorption and iBR+ outsole for durability. Flexibility is featured through deeper grooves, a wider forefoot and less overlays from the lightweight mesh in the upper.
Outsole has been redesigned looking for smoother ride along with the midfoot support system for improved comfort and stability. Reflective elements on both heel and toe box provides good visibility under poor light conditions.
