The Saucony Fastwitch 7 is a lightweight racing shoe with light overpronation support. It is quite popular for long distance (marathon) competition and thanks to sock-like fit and water drainage ports in midsole to keep feet dry it is also an interesting option for triathlon.
The Fastwitch 7 is slighty lighter than its predecessor the Fastwitch 6 basically because of new upper of breathable air mesh with synthetic layers melded (FlexFilm™) for improved seamless fit. The other major change is the new Saucony's PowerTrac™ outsole rubber with three times better traction compared to normal rubber, there was definitely room to improve from previous editions.
Midsole combines double density foam in the midfoot to correct overpronation with SSL (Saucony Super Light) EVA cushioning to feature a more responsive shoe. With just 4 mm offset from heel to toe, the Fastwitch 7 delivers a more natural ride, ready for racing!.
