The Brooks Cascadia 11 is a versatile trail running shoe which means that can be used on all terrains but its performance is not the best in any of them, take it into account. Good cushioning, great traction and with specific rock plate to protect against sharp objects are essential features to become one of the most beloved saga among neutral trail runners.
Although there was a huge improvement regarding grip and traction from it predecessor the Cascadia 10, many users complained about stiffness and upper's durability. The Cascadia 11 is still a narrow shoe but upper has been reinforced for enhanced endurance and moisture-management has been improved to keep feet dry under wet conditions.
Rest of Cascadia 11 remains the same with well known BioMoGo DNA for soft but reliable cushioning (as well as other Brooks running shoes like the popular Ravenna 7). Heel strikers will enjoy extra support thanks to full length segmented crash pad for smooth transition. Regarding safety, feet are well protected with a ballistic rock shield and reinforced toe cap. Outsole keeps what is was working fine with 4 point pivot posting system for extra stability on tricky terrain without feeling intrusive and multi-directional lugs along the edges for great traction on technical grounds.
